Twitter Will not Change, I Will

First and foremost, I want to thank everyone for being here. I finally feel like I am ready to share more of my life here, more of my thoughts, and consistently share things. And it was not an easy place to get to. If you look at my previous posts, you can see I was struggling to get to a place online where I would be comfortable. I think I am there. So here are a few things to share…

I plan on posting at least five days a week. My posts will be heavy on my weight loss and living as a previous 470 pound man. I will also be sharing my social views along with politics. If you follow me on Twitter, you probably have seen I am doing that less and less. I just tell homophobic conservatives to get bent and unemployed actors to keep their hatred to themselves. So expect five or more posts a week. With that being said, also expect one to be behind a paywall. At the end of every post I ask if you would be interested in a paid subscription (I think it is $5 a month and $50 a year) and I do want to share a little more of me to those who support.

Along with that, I have closed my open DMs on Twitter. I have done this off and on, but this is a permanent move. I truly do not like the way it is going there. For the last few years, I have used it to sell art and cards, but that is not working anymore. It is actually a shame because it was fun. But there are still many ways to contact me, including Spoutible and here.

I am also going to use Ko-Fi more. I now sell all my art there. That way it is a safer transaction. I also accept tips there to keep my journey going. If that is not for you, then just ignore that aspect. But there you can follow me for free, and I am using that as an outlet to post art and pictures and updates.

I am using Twitter less and less. Right now, I need to use it to promote my writing and my Ebay sports cards store. I have over 2,000 cards now and most are under $10 with coupons you can use at checkout or best offer.

I know this is kind of an annoying post, but it is something I have worked on for a while and I want it to work. I want to give you enough content where I can focus on this. I want to make art you love at an affordable price and I want to continue selling sports cards.

And I realize that Twitter is not going to get any better. My reach there is zero. Buying a blue subscription is not worth it, and it is not that much. Everytime I post, no one I follow sees it. Just people I do not. And that happens on my timeline as well.

And it sucks because I finally feel like I am coming into my own. I do not have to focus on saying FU to Tomi Lahren or fight with Scott Baio or be a reply guy for larger accounts. I feel like I have a voice and I want to use it. So I am. And I will lose and gain subscribers all the time because I can be extra. I will have opinions you disagree with. I will promote the hell out of myself and what I do.

But I do hope you stay, because I have a lot to offer you. And I have a voice that should be heard.
