The Benchwarmer

“You know, it is ridiculous they took my son out of the game. And for what, do give these benchwarmers a chance to play? Unreal.”

I remember hearing that last year from a mom of a Senior in high school. Her son was one of the worst baseball players I have ever seen in my life. I am not saying that to be mean. I am saying that because he was bad. Baseball was not his sport. Soccer was. He made that clear. And every time he would go up to bat, he would swing at a pitch that was literally a 55 MPH pitch down the middle and miss it.
