Indictment

Well, well, well. So after an agonizing wait to justice, it seems like we might have some. Donald Trump, who has broken the law more than I have eaten pizza, is finally indicted on seven counts by a federal court. He is facing charges of obstruction of justice, destruction of records, falsifying records, conspiracy, false statements, and espionage.

This is obviously serious. No president have EVER been indicted, let alone charged with this serious offenses. He could face serious jail time. You do not get indicted unless there is an incredible amount of evidence against you.

So of course after he got indicted, he went on the offensive. The whole witch hunt, everyone is against me, no one loves me, it can happen to you, what about Hunter blah blah blah speech. There is none of that. There is nothing partisan about consequences for breaking the law. None. And no one is above the law. Well, Dolly Parton is but thats it.

He fundraised off of it. He always does. But one thing surprised me that I was shocked a little. The Republicans ran to his defense. Everyone of them. Even the people running against him.

Look, It makes no sense. They all know he broke the law. Every single one of them. There is not one Republican in my opinion who believes he has not. Not one. And they are running to blame Joe Biden. Joe Biden, the man who has absolutely nothing to do with a federal court indicting anyone, is to blame? Get out of here.

So here is what is going to happen. Trump will get stronger in his party. There is not a chance anyone will beat him for the nomination. Not one.

And guess what. There are no legal obstacles to running for president as a convicted felon or even from behind bars. So he can possibly win the nomination while going through an indictment or in jail.

And I assure you, when he wins the Republican nomination, there is not a chance he will win the presidency. Yeah, I know about 2016. But remember, that was when no one really knew about how bad of a person he truly was. I mean, ask Susan Sarandon. And yes, 2020 was close, but look at Jan. 6th of 2021. People remember that. Voters remember that. And I assure you, the polls will be full to make sure an indicted secual abuser who never won an Emmy or a popular vote will never be president.

So this indictment is much better than I expected. It truly is. I am looking forward to the future and the next year. And I made this original art piece commemorating the event.
