Everybody Needs To Calm Down

Breath, take a walk, or whatever the f*ck people tell me to make me angry

First off, I am not the best spokesperson to calm people down. I am not. I am the person who will yell “WHYYYYYYYYY!!!!!” when I am told the sky is falling. I am the person that will take the dumbest thing ever and make it into a long drawn out situation. But, too many of my friends are stressing out and I feel it is a moral obligation to take a step back and tell you why I am not going bananas this week.

Election

Okay so I have to be honest. This election has been mentally brutal. It is an important one especially since Trump’s SCOTUS seems to enjoy taking away rights and with the Jan 6th investigation and Donald Trump stealing documents and possibly having a real Dem majority Senate…

And I had to take a step back. See, midterms seem to always go against the president’s party. Joe Biden walked into a shithouse and is blamed for everything that isn’t his fault. So Of course the opposing party will take advantage of that. Except I do think this time is different. I do believe that decency will prevail tomorrow. I don’t think we will win every election but I am confident about Georgia and Pennsylvania. Sorry, Texas and Florida have let me down too many times. But I will say if Val Demings doesn’t win then shame on Florida. She is amazing. Charlie Crist is fine lol. Better than DeSantis buy a lot.

Twitter

Twitter is stressful. Like really bad. The owner is an asshole and he is acting like an even bigger asshole. I cannot go on without getting attacked in every direction. But…it is Twitter. I do not need it for my career although it helps a lot. Being able to promote myself is important. I hate seeing people go but I understand as well. I am mad about suspending Kathy Griffin. It is the dumbest thing. But look, we have dealt with Nazis and assholes for a long time on Twitter. And there are enough good people on Twitter to balance it out. So just keep that in mind when it feels like your soul is being sold for 800 pennies a month.

Hurricane

Well it looks like Nicole is coming to fuck some shit up in Florida. I hate hurricanes. I hate them because I want to know exactly what the weather is going to be and a hurricane is like okay we are going to fuck you up haha just kidding haha just kidding again haha fuck your roof. But We already have some supplies and look, worst case, I will use my 12 chargers just for my phone so I can tweet.

Art

Okay, this is not your stress. This is mine. I have been trying to figure out if selling my art is worth it or not. I feel like I am kind of a pain or a burden when I promote it. But honestly, I have so many ideas and want to make so much I do think I will be selling again. And trust me, I will have plenty after tomorrow night.

So look, I do think we will end up okay this week. I know you are stressed. If not, I know I am. So lets just all breath together and then tell each other to fuck off because breathing doesn’t cure anxiety.
